Our Reporting
HomeFront's reporting will be launching in Early Fall 2026.
We are currently in production on four documentary video projects, traveling to communities in Oregon, California, Minnesota, Colorado, Pennsylvania and South Carolina to document the day-to-day challenges impacting the health and well-being of children and families and the people and programs making a real difference.
Our reports explore the intersection of child care and workforce challenges facing communities across the country, the importance of time in nature for early childhood development, prevention programs helping vulnerable families going through difficult times stay together safely, and what declining childhood vaccination rates mean for the health of families and communities.
Each project reflects HomeFront's solutions-focused approach, examining not just the challenges families face, but the innovative solutions taking shape at the community level and the broader efforts to bring them to scale.
Our Reporting Partners
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. HomeFront's current projects are being produced in partnership with leading nonprofit newsrooms and public media organizations, including:
- The Imprint — an independent daily news outlet focused on the nation's child welfare and youth justice systems, and a publication of Fostering Media Connections
- PBS12 — a Denver-based public television station rooted in independence, diverse viewpoints, and championing community voices across Colorado
- FRONTLINE — PBS's flagship investigative documentary series
We are actively building additional reporting partnerships with INN Network newsrooms and public media stations across the country.
